Climb the ups and fly the downs in a shoe built to deliver confidence, durability, comfort, and grip with tech made for technical terrain. The Olympus 275 HiLo has an updated Altra EGO™ MAX midsole foam that’s 15% lighter and 10% softer than the previous version for a plush underfoot feel in every step. With a Vibram® Megagrip outsole with TractionLug™, you’ve got fierce grip with adaptative traction and stability on wet or dry terrain. Just like the beloved Olympus 275, it’s designed with a MATRYX® one-piece woven upper, made for high performance and durability with a built-in scree sleeve for protection from debris. It’s got our roomiest toe box to help your toes move more freely with space through the midfoot, and zero drop for natural movement. Whether you’re heading out for an all-day training run or toeing the starting line of an ultra-trail race, you’ve got the shoe that can send it all day (and all night).

- FootShape™ Fit: Original
Altra shoes are offered in three cushioning levels (Low, Mid, and High), which are defined by stack height. Some cushions may be built with different materials, but the overall ride is categorized by how much shoe sits between your foot and the ground.
This refers to the height difference between your heel and forefoot and is always 0mm or 4mm in all Altra shoes. A Zero-to-Low Drop shoe encourages a more efficient, functional movement pattern.
What is FootShape™ Fit?
A shoe with FootShape™ Fit is not a “wide” shoe. It’s a shoe with room for your toes that still keeps your foot secure through the midfoot. Every Altra shoe has our signature FootShape™ for natural movement. However, Altra styles are designed with three FootShape™ Fits for different experiences: Original, Standard, and Racing.
- Original FootShape™ Fit — Our roomiest toe box with space through the midfoot.
- Standard FootShape™ Fit — Room for your toes with a secure midfoot.
- Racing FootShape™ Fit — Room for your toes with a snug midfoot for a secure racing stance.
Features
- Light + luxurious performance — Get a little extra bounce and added durability with unique Altra EGO™ MAX midsole foam.
- Durable + sticky outsole for fierce trail grip — Vibram® Megagrip is a high-performance sticky rubber that offers unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity, and optimal ground adaptability.
- Roomy toe box for natural movement — With Altra’s signature FootShape™ fit, you get our roomiest toe box with plenty of room to help your toes move freely, and space through the midfoot.
The Altra Fit
Room for your toes for comfort, balance, and strength.
- Roomy Toe Box — Allows space for your toes to spread out naturally, helping to avoid squished toes for more comfort and balance.
- Zero-to-Low Drop — Our Zero-to-Low Drop shoes are built to place your foot in a natural position, with a stable and confident foundation to run on.
