What are the electrolyte chews? The electrolyte chews are a hydration solution enriched with mineral salts (sodium, potassium, magnesium) that make up for the mineral salts lost through sweating.

What is dehydration? It is a lack of water and of the minerals essential to the proper functioning of the body. During activity it shows up as a rise in body temperature, headaches, cramp and hyperthermia.

Electrolyte chews vs isotonic drink? The electrolyte chews are a hydration solution enriched with mineral salts, with no energy content, whereas an isotonic drink also gives you a source of energy.

Electrolyte chews vs salt capsules? Electrolyte chews and salt capsules have the same purpose: to replace the mineral salts lost through sweat. One is chewed, the other is taken with a mouthful of water.

What kind of effort is it for? This product is particularly suited to intense effort, where an energy supply is not necessarily needed. It can also be taken alongside an energy product during prolonged effort and/or in high heat.

• 150 mg of sodium per dose - supports the body's fluid and nerve balance, for good muscle contraction and effective hydration during exercise.
• 30 mg of potassium per dose - contributes to the balance of fluids in the body while helping to prevent cramp. It also supports muscle function and the proper working of the nervous system.
• 6 mg of magnesium per dose - supports muscle and nerve function and helps reduce fatigue. It is also involved in electrolyte balance and in energy production during exercise.
• 27.20 mg of chloride per dose - helps maintain fluid balance and contributes to digestion by supporting the production of gastric acid.
• 10 mg of calcium per dose - essential for muscle contraction, nerve transmission and bone strength.
