足よりも大きい紙を壁に立てかけます。壁が平らであることを確認し、幅木がある場合はそれも平らであることを確認してください。
かかとを壁につけて紙の上に立ちます。床が硬く、床と壁／幅木の間の隙間に紙が滑り込まないことを確認してください。
鉛筆で、一番長いつま先が届く位置に印をつけます。正確な最大値を測るため、鉛筆をつま先の下に押し込まないように注意してください。
