Extra protection and grip for rough terrain

I'm between two sizes. Which size would you recommend?

As a general rule, we always recommend going for the smaller size, since the socks are very stretchy and mold to your foot. Even though we've adjusted and optimized the fit of the socks several times, they tend to run a bit large.
