The RUN MARATHON sock hasĀ reinforcements targetedĀ to areas of warm-up or strategic contacts that are highly stressed on roads or paths : the Achilles tendon, the lacing point, the heel and the toe of the foot.

This is the collaboration between aĀ brand from Saint-Ćtienne, present on the trail scene for over 20 years, and aĀ Lyon-based illustrator, Matthieu Forichon, who humorously and lightly portrays it in his famous illustrations calledĀ 'Des bosses et Des bulles' (Bumps and Bubbles).
There's no rivalry between the two cities when it comes to trail running; in fact, in trail running and regular running, Saint-Ćtienne and Lyon are connected with a hyphen, and not just on a cold December night!
ThisĀ collaboration, which also marks the beginning of BV Sport'sĀ Made in France productionĀ of socks, brings the fun and quirky universe of Des bosses et Des bulles toĀ technical productsĀ that are essential for trail runners, both duringĀ racesĀ andĀ training, as well as inĀ everyday life.
Starting with a white sock and giving Matthieu complete freedom to propose the first collection, we succeeded in technically translating it onto our products without losing the detail and finesse of his work.
