Ultimate SHR was developed to help runners concentrate on running even in bad weather. It was born from feedback from runners who suffered from foot problems caused by soaked socks and soggy soles due to rain.

The base material is a specially modified polyester with a cross-section that significantly improves moisture absorption and quick-drying capabilities. In tests to measure how much moisture remains in the fibers over time, the socks recorded a difference of about five times that of regular running socks. Although they do not use the CORDURA FABRIC®️ used in ULTIMATE and ULTIMATE ASO, they do use high-strength nylon in the heel area, making them approximately 1.6 times more durable (less likely to tear) than conventional running socks.
