Note: According to the ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard, the above specifications are from the results produced by Fenix through its laboratory testing using one Fenix ARB-L18-3400 battery under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. The true performance of this product may vary according to different working environments and the actual battery used.
*The Turbo output is measured in total of runtime including output at reduced levels due to temperature or protection mechanism in the design.
FAQS
Q1. What is the product positioning of HM65R V2.0? What are the key features of HM65R V2.0?
A: The Fenix HM65R V2.0 is a lightweight, magnesium alloy headlamp engineered for harsh environments and industrial-grade operational requirements. Its key features include: 2200 lumens maximum output, 230 meters maximum beam distance. Spotlight, floodlight, combined output, and red light meet various lighting needs in complex outdoor scenarios. Dual top switches allow for independent control of spotlight, floodlight, and brightness levels. Inner waterproof USB Type-C charging port.
Q2. What kind of LEDsare used in HM65R V2.0? Does Fenix offer to replace LED?
A: Uses one Luminus SST40-GEN2 LED, one Luminus SST-20F LED, and one 3535 red LED. Fenix does not provide LED replacement services for the time being, and users are not recommended to replace the LEDs independently, which may affect product performance and cause product damage.
Q3. What is the color temperature of HM65R V2.0?
A: Spotlight: 6500K. Floodlight: 6500K.
Q4. What is the working voltage of HM65R V2.0?
A: Operating voltage: 3.0 V~4.2 V. Maximum operating voltage range: 2.8 V~8.4 V.
Q5. Is HM65R V2.0 rechargeable? How long is the charging time?
A: Yes. The HM65R V2.0 features a USB Type-C port for charging. The normal charging time is approximately 2.5 hours from depleted to fully charged.
Q6. How to prevent accidentally activating the HM65R V2.0?
A: Lock: With the lamp turned off, press and hold both switches at the same time for 3 seconds, the lamp will blink 4 times in Low output of Floodlight mode to indicate locked status. Unlock: With the lamp locked, press and hold both switches at the same time for 3 seconds, the lamp will blink 4 times and remain on in Low output of Floodlight mode to indicate that the lamp is unlocked. Note: In locked status, any operation other than unlocking will trigger 4 blinks in Low output of Floodlight mode to indicate the locked status.
Q7. Why does the HM65R V2.0 downshift to a lower mode after being used for a while and the higher mode cannot be selected?
A: There are two reasons: The headlamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55°C or above, the headlamp will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. 2. Low-voltage Warning When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until the lowest output level is reached.
Q8. Why does the HM65R V2.0 happen to flicker?
A: The reasons that may cause the headlamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate: A: Low battery level. Solution: Recharge or replace the battery. B: The contact point or contact of the battery or headlamp is dirty. Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol. C: The headlamp is locked. Solution: Press and hold both switches at the same time for 3 seconds to unlock the headlamp. If the above methods don't work, please contact the distributor.
Q9. What kind of battery can be used in HM65R V2.0?
A: It is recommended to use the included Fenix ARB-L18-3400 battery. Additionally, other batteries from the Fenix ARB-L18 series are recommended. To ensure optimal performance, using the included battery is highly recommended. When using CR123A or 16340 batteries, it is strictly prohibited to mix batteries of different models, types, ages, capacities, or charge states. Furthermore, it is strictly prohibited to charge these batteries. When using these alternative batteries, the headlamp may experience a reduced number of brightness levels and shorter runtime.
