The Fenix HL45R switches seamlessly between red and white light sources with the rotary dial and you can adjust the brightness level by simply tapping the side button. Additionally, the focus ring on this headlamp allows you to transition the white light from a wide flood to a concentrated spotlight. Featuring a gesture-sensing control, you can turn the headlamp on or off with just a wave of your hand. The Fenix HL45R Rechargeable Headlamp runs on a 1900mAh rechargeable battery but also accepts AAA batteries for flexibility. With durable aluminum alloy construction, IP66 waterproofing, and impact resistance, this rechargeable headlamp is ready for any environment.
The gesture sensor and proximity sensor are turned on by default. If you experience unexpected deactivation or dimming when adjusting the focus ring, it is due to your hand covering the sensor. You may deactivate that sensor by holding down the electronic switch for 6 seconds while the light is off. The red light will flash eight times indicating that the sensor is disabled.
