Altra shoes are offered in three cushioning levels (Low, Mid, and High), which are defined by stack height. Some cushions may be built with different materials, but the overall ride is categorized by how much shoe sits between your foot and the ground.

This refers to the height difference between your heel and forefoot and is always 0mm or 4mm in all Altra shoes. A Zero-to-Low Drop shoe encourages a more efficient, functional movement pattern.
