Care information for the suede option

Avoid cleaning suede shoes when they're wet. Its best to allow mud or other moisture to dry before brushing, follow drying instructions below. (reference to current drying advice)
Once dry, brush the suede/ nubuck with a stiff bristled brush to remove any surface dirt or dust. Make sure to use a clean brush for this job. A brass bristled brush can be used for more stubborn stains but don't rub too hard as this can damage the surface of the suede. If you don't have a brush, you can use a clean cloth, but avoid using any soap or water, which can make the mess worse.

Drying

Dry at room temperature. Keep out of direct sunlight and avoid putting on a radiator.

Aftercare

Care information for the leather option

We recommend using Renapur Leather Balsam to nourish the leather, restore the colour and finish and help prevent the leather from drying out and cracking. It's ideal to treat new footwear as it helps relax the new leather and make your footwear waterproof.

Care information for the suede option

To remove any marks that remain on the surface of your shoes, a suede rubber goes a long way. If you don't have one, a pencil rubber or household cleaning sponge will be the next best thing. Make sure the rubber is clean from stains itself.

Treatment of stubborn stains:

If all else fails, use an acidic liquid to break apart clumps of particles and remove stains. We recommend wetting the corner of a dry cloth with a small amount of suede cleaner, white vinegar or rubbing alcohol. Make sure you don't drench the shoe in liquid, but rather lightly dampen the suede. Massage the shoe with a rapid side-to-side motion, and then allow the suede to dry. If the stain is still visible, repeat the process.

End of life

Once you can’t repair or don't need them anymore, send us your old Vivos and we’ll make they sure they’re given a second life, or if they’re really well-loved, we'll store them until we launch our recycling solution.
