COROS, following the successful launch of the “lightweight king” Pace 3 in September last year, has exciting news once again! They’ve introduced an upgraded version of their flagship adventure watch, the Vertix 2s. This new model features enhancements in design, functionality, hardware, and software, promising a fresh experience for users.

Here are the key upgrades in the Vertix 2s:

1. Upgraded Heart Rate Sensor: The Vertix 2s now boasts four LED sensors (up from three) and four light sensors (up from one), significantly improving heart rate accuracy. It also retains the original blood oxygen monitoring feature to cater to various user needs.

2. Dual-Frequency Chipset Upgrade: The redesigned dual-frequency chipset enhances satellite positioning accuracy, even in challenging environments like high mountains or urban areas with weak signals.

3. Software Enhancements: The Vertix 2s introduces additional daily monitoring features, including sleep tracking and stress monitoring. Despite these additions, it maintains an impressive 118-hour battery life in GPS mode and up to 46 days in daily use.

4. Upgraded Watch Face and Display: The watch case combines titanium alloy and high-strength polymer with PVD coating, ensuring durability and scratch resistance. The MIP touchscreen minimizes power consumption and visual fatigue while providing smoother transitions.

5. Weight Reduction and Extra Strap: The Vertix 2s sheds 2 grams of weight, now weighing 87g with the silicone strap and 70g with the nylon strap. Additionally, it comes with both silicone and nylon straps for user customization.

6. Faster Charging: Charging time has improved from 2 hours (Vertix 2) to 1.5 hours (Vertix 2s).

7. Additional Nylon Quick-Release Strap: In addition to the included silicone strap, the Vertix 2s now comes with a $299 nylon quick-release strap for users to switch as desired.

8. Eco-Friendly Packaging: The Vertix 2s packaging is now half the size of the Vertix 2’s, using fully recyclable materials.
