Maurten Gel 100 40g
Energy encapsulated in a natural hydrogel. Built with six ingredients — no added colorants, preservatives or flavours. 25g of carbohydrates per serving. Can be used before, during and/or after activity.
This is the Gel. It’s a bold statement. But nonetheless true. From a technical perspective, traditional gels are water and carbohydrates simply mixed into syrups, often containing added flavors and preservatives.
The Gel100 is completely different. It’s a biopolymer matrix, filled with a unique blend of fructose and glucose (ratio of 0.8:1) which enables uptakes of up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour. The Gel 100 is built by harnessing natural hydrogel technology and built with six natural ingredients. It doesn’t contain any colorants or preservatives and comes in 40g servings. Each serving contains 60% carbohydrates – a high weight to energy ratio.
Unlike many other traditional energy gels on the market which tend to be a runny syrup, the Gel 100 and Gel 100 Caf 100 have a firmer, more - well, gel-like structure. Making it a Gel. So one could say, this is the Gel.
By utilising Hydrogel Technology, the carbohydrates packed within the Gel 100 can bypass the stomach to the intestines where they get absorbed, faster, into the body. This also helps in reducing the risk of gastrointestinal distress during activation.
6 natural ingredients. No preservatives.
No artificial flavours or allergens.
It won't get much cleaner than this.
Elite Athletes all around the world have discovered and rely on Hydrogel Technology for their training sessions and races. Many have broken records and done the unthinkable.
The following guidelines outline fueling strategies for common training sessions and race plans. Remember that a fuel guide is highly personal and varies depending on individual diets and also on specific training programs. The following information is for reference only and can help empower your training, by creating, refining, and help you execute your fuel strategy.
In 2015, we discovered how to make sports fuels easier to tolerate by encapsulating high concentrations of carbohydrates in hydrogels. The sports fuels, based on only natural ingredients, became popular and one year later some of the world's best runners started using our products. The technology is patent pending.

Been buying all my trial running clothes and equipment from hillmalaya. Recently, they messed up my maurten gel with another model. The shop responded promptly with a great offer! I do highly recommend everyone to enjoy a great shopping experience here.

I like these foldable trail chairs very much. I bought 2 this time round in addition 4 others at home. I used it to sit down to do chores at home especially at low level, gardening (trimming lower branches) and sitting in the park for outdoor photography especially waiting for birds. This reduces the need to squat for long periods of time which is not good for my knees and legs as I grow older.
