Maurten Solid C 160 is a two-piece, oat- and rice-based chewable fuel with cocoa — 1 pack, 2 mini-bars. 40 grams of carbohydrates split into equal 20-gram servings for optimized fueling. Your go-to fuel — fast, light, low-fiber, and carbohydrate-rich.

Solid C 160 is Maurten’s bar — a go-to fuel source for the in-between moments. The daily transitions — on the way to the pool, the track, the race, the trail-side break, or when heading home from training. Fueling made easy.

’C’ means cocoa. It’s a flavour reset. A variation to break up endurance fueling.

All part of the plan. Solid contains 40 grams of carbohydrates, the same as Gel 160 and Drink Mix 160. Whichever fuel mode you choose, measuring your energy is simple. It’s Maurten’s modular fueling system, making it easier for athletes to calculate their carbohydrate consumption during training and racing.

Break it down. A Solid wrapper encapsulates 2 mini-bars — 20 grams of carbohydrates in each. Eat it all or save half for later. Break down your training. Break down your race. Break down your fuel.

Stay ahead of the times.

Solid 225 raised the bar — Solid 160 refines it. Maurten adopts an ongoing approach to innovation. Striving for continuous improvement. The job isn’t finished when a new product is launched — that’s just the start.

To stay at the front of a fast-developing endurance landscape, Maurten works closely with athletes in real-world situations to refine formulations and evolve requirements. Solid 160 is an evolution — a direct result of athlete collaboration.

Solid 160 — your go-to fuel.

Athletes are always on-the-go. Solid 160 is designed to work with those moments. Training and racing often fit around everyday life — Solid 160 works with your routine.

Before: Solid 160 can be used before training to load carbohydrates and keep fiber low. It’s a great pre-race breakfast or snack in the days leading up to a big goal.

During: Solid is an ideal fuel to consume during low-to-medium intensity endurance sessions over 2 hours. It helps add variety into your fueling without compromising the absorption rate of the carbohydrates.

After: Hard training sessions or races should be rewarded. Solid is a great tool for replenishing carbohydrates quickly.

Serves you right

Timing of fueling is everything. The longer the session — the more so. Solid enables athletes to mimic their normal food pattern — mid-race or around training. To consume textured, chewable fuel at times when they would ordinarily eat a meal. To maintain balance and rhythm — limiting gastrointestinal stress.

Solid is a dose of real on long races or steady training over 2 hours. Something to bite and chew on — with no loss of efficiency for fueling the body. Chewing your fuel won’t slow you down.

New-trition

We didn’t set out to make a commercial product when we started our Solid journey. We looked at science and thought, “If we make a bar that’s good enough for an elite rider or athlete, it will be good enough for all athletes.”

When we looked into it and spoke to our athletes, we realised that there were simply not many options out there for a performance-focused bar. Solid is the result. Pure and simple.
