This lightweight trekking backpack for ambitious long-distance undertakings features our VariQuick back length adjustment and ECL hip fins for a snug, comfortable fit and highly efficient load transfer. The Aircontact Lite full-contact back system made of open cell foam with a ventilation channel generates noticeably effective breathability and allows space to ease the strain on the spine. The result: superb balance between comfort and light weight for long days on the trail.
The pack features VariQuick system, which enables quick and easy adjustment of the back length to the wearer.
Compact, ergonomic ECL hip fins can be adjusted for stability and a custom fit for efficient load transfer. Special padding inserts hug the hips and provide stability and comfort. An additional cut-out along the back not only ensures ventilation but also reduces pressure on the spine.
The Aircontact Lite back, made of open-cell, hollow-chamber foam padding ensures good breathability and an excellent balance of comfort and light weight. It’s ideal for efficient load transfer.
AIRCONTACT SYSTEM
This model is also available in the SL version. The SL back length is specific for women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. The carrying system in the SL model is therefore somewhat shorter than in the Deuter standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy. More information about our fits.
Energy-saving carrying comfort
thanks to the precise ergonomics of the back system.
Good Ventilation
thanks to channels between the padding and the use of breathable 3D mesh.
The benefits
By distributing the load evenly, it saves energy and results in a more relaxed spine when carrying heavier loads. Effective ventilation across the back creates improved comfort and also saves energy.
This deuter product was manufactured by us without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.
Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.
By increasingly adopting materials and technologies for our collections that have a smaller carbon footprint, we are taking positive steps toward reducing our CO² emissions. But despite our greatest efforts, it’s impossible not to generate any emissions at all. And so, we’ve teamed up with ClimatePartner to offset all unavoidable CO² emissions. From now on, when a deuter product is bought, the volume of emissions released by the manufacture and transportation of it will be compensated for through voluntary offsetting and targeted investment in select social and climate protection projects. I bought a water filter. There was a bit of a hiccup with the delivery, but the Hillmalaya team sorted it out quickly. The service is very good 👍. Also, next time I shop I will never use JD Express (京東快遞) again. It was really exasperating!
買了濾水器，送貨時有點阻滯，但Hillmalaya團隊很快搞定，服務非常好👍。另外，下次購物絕不再用京東快遞，非常勞氣！

Been buying all my trial running clothes and equipment from hillmalaya. Recently, they messed up my maurten gel with another model. The shop responded promptly with a great offer! I do highly recommend everyone to enjoy a great shopping experience here.

I like these foldable trail chairs very much. I bought 2 this time round in addition 4 others at home. I used it to sit down to do chores at home especially at low level, gardening (trimming lower branches) and sitting in the park for outdoor photography especially waiting for birds. This reduces the need to squat for long periods of time which is not good for my knees and legs as I grow older.
